Language Course Training Services

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has commissioned the Skills4Abroad program, which has been supporting professionals in international cooperation for 60 years. This program offers various learning opportunities for up to 2,000 participants annually from around 40 different sending organizations. Skills4Abroad is part of the Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) of GIZ. The training is available in both German and English and currently includes around 30 courses covering topics such as 'Diversity and International Context', 'Personal Safety and (Mental) Health', 'Language and Communication', 'Management and Consulting', and 'Family Abroad'. Training sessions are held either in-person at the Kottenforst campus in Bonn-Röttgen or through the digital learning platform 'Online Campus'. Participants can utilize up to 30 learning days free of charge and can attend the program 6 months before and up to 24 months after their departure. Additional flexible learning, information, and networking opportunities, as well as resources from the campus library, complement the training program. These offerings can be accessed individually or guided through formats like 'Learning 4 Development - Your Topic in Focus' and 'Time 2 Learn - Your Learning in Focus'.
