    Brief

This is a direct award opportunity to provide analytical services for cacao seed samples collected from South American countries (Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil). The work includes: (1) Trace Element Analysis (TEA) of approximately 100 cacao seed subsamples using Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), and (2) Stable Isotope Ratio Analysis (SIRA) of approximately 60 cacao samples (both fatted and defatted fractions) using Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IR-MS). Samples will be provided in January 2026 and must be analyzed and data returned by March 31, 2026. The analysis must follow identical protocols and procedures established during previous World Forest ID projects conducted by Fera to ensure continuity of data quality, maintain chain of custody, protect sample integrity, and enable standardized results and interpretation. Suppliers should be prepared to work under existing Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
