Excavation and Construction Works in Lankasuo, Phase 1A

The project involves excavation work in the Lankasuo area located in Espoo, specifically for the future landfill operations. Some of the excavated material may be crushed. The work includes the removal of soil materials, excavation of the base area, earthworks, construction of site roads, and establishment of storage piles. Additionally, it involves the construction of a sedimentation basin and ditches for the Lankasuo landfill area, as well as the extension of an existing noise barrier in Kulmakorpi. The project will include earth cutting and excavation work, crushing, earth transportation, and the construction of embankments. Renewable, fossil-free fuels will be used in the construction machinery and earth-moving trucks. The project will utilize the Infrakit project bank, data models, and machine control.
