Trained Public Experts for Health and Care Quality Assessments

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is seeking to procure trained members of the public, known as Experts by Experience (ExEs), to support quality assessments of health and care services across England. ExEs will contribute their lived experience and public perspective to CQC inspections and evaluations, helping to assess the quality and safety of regulated health and social care providers. This competitive flexible procedure opportunity is open to organisations that can recruit, train, and manage ExEs to participate in CQC assessment activities. The role of ExEs is critical in ensuring that service user voices and experiences directly inform CQC's understanding of care quality.
