Engineering Services for Water Supply Project in Bulgaria

This contract involves the preparation of an investment project, specifically a technical project for the construction of a river water intake, a drinking water treatment plant, and a supply pipeline, along with the provision of author supervision. The main goal of this public procurement is to improve the living standards of the residents of Teteven and Ribartsi by supplying additional water quantities to Teteven, which will be reserved in the Kostina reservoir in Ribartsi, Teteven Municipality. The project aims to ensure compliance with the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC and Directive 98/83/EC on drinking water. The technical project must include the design of a new river water intake, a disinfection station, and a transit pipeline to the pressure reservoir at Kostina, which will enhance water supply to Teteven and Ribartsi. All facilities and pipelines within the project scope must be designed according to the existing detailed urban plans of the locality. Specific objectives include developing quality urban planning projects for the water intake and drinking water treatment plant, as well as technical projects for the water intake, treatment plant, and supply pipeline. The projects must comply with the requirements of Regulation No. 4 of May 21, 2001, regarding the scope and content of investment projects under the Spatial Planning Act. The activities covered by this procurement must include all project components according to the Spatial Planning Act. Author supervision must be exercised during construction.
