Rock Excavation and Crushing Services in Jyväskylä

The contract involves the excavation of rock in the Rekkamiehentie area of Jyväskylä, as well as the breaking and crushing of the rock. Detailed information about the area can be found in Attachment 3, Map Attachment. The work also includes 5,000 cubic meters of loose rock excavation, which will remain on-site for future use. The rock will be crushed into the following specified grades at a unit price of €/ton (excluding VAT): - approximately 30,000 tons of KaM 0-90 mm - approximately 60,000 tons of KaM 0-56 mm - approximately 30,000 tons of KaM 0-16 mm - 5,000 cubic meters of loose rock excavation. The contractor must appoint a blasting supervisor responsible for the excavation work, who must hold a valid qualification certificate for blasting operations. The unit prices must include all costs associated with the work, including the transportation of machinery, dust suppression, excavation, rock breaking, and the transfer of crushed material to the pile, as well as any necessary snow removal. The contract is tied to the quantity of work performed, and any changes in quantity will adjust the contract price accordingly based on the unit prices. The materials must meet the requirements of InfraRYL. The client will conduct quality control of the materials. The crushing work must be completed by May 15, 2026. Operational hours and production (ATTACHMENT 4 Environmental Permit Decision 179-2017-2): 1. Excavation and crushing work cannot be performed on weekends (Saturday-Sunday) or public holidays. 2. Daily operational hours from the beginning of August (August 1) until Midsummer are as follows: blasting and breaking from 8 AM to 6 PM, drilling from 7 AM to 9 PM, and crushing from 7 AM to 10 PM. 3. Loading and transportation can be carried out year-round on weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 6 AM to 10 PM, excluding public holidays.
