Architectural Services for Energy Renovation of the Artists' House in Bremen

The Artists' House in Bremen is a mixed-use art and cultural center that is set to undergo energy renovation. A significant portion of the building is utilized as artist studios, but it also houses various workshops, studios, offices, and a restaurant. The building was constructed in several phases between 1946 and 1956 and was initially used as a factory, warehouse, and office for the spice mill Runkel + Frischen. Since 1989, the building has been renovated and has been used as the current Artists' House since 1992. The building has been maintained over the years. The heated usable area is approximately 2,456 m². The estimated construction costs (KG 300+400) are around 1.63 million euros net. Funding through EFRE resources is being sought, and corresponding billing modalities must be considered. The renovation is to be carried out while the building remains operational.
