    Brief

This procurement opportunity involves environmental services for the new workshops project in Yverdon-les-Bains, covering phases SIA 31 to 33. To address the increased capacity needed for the maintenance of rolling stock in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, a new maintenance center is to be constructed in the Canton of Vaud. In 2020, a working group was tasked with exploring various options for expanding maintenance capacities in the Canton of Vaud. The strategic study recommended a major transformation of the Yverdon-les-Bains workshops for heavy maintenance of long-distance fleets, alongside a new light maintenance site in Aigle, which is under separate study. The main phases of the project will include: - The first phase involves constructing three new 250-meter-long tracks south of the existing halls and one short track for locomotives. Concurrently, the energy production and distribution on the site will be renewed, and a company restaurant will be built in the northwest. The extension of the workshop site towards the station will require redesigning many existing storage tracks and relocating some tracks towards Onnens-Bonvillars. The relocation of the Park and Ride (P+R) facility is also necessary and will likely occur in the new underground parking at Place d'Armes. - The second phase includes constructing several logistics storage volumes and about thirty workspaces for short vehicles and surface treatment in the center of the site. - The third phase involves renovating the northern halls and quadrilateral for production needs, as well as constructing a new production hall and social areas (offices, changing rooms).
