Network Equipment for IT&C Infrastructure - 24-Month Framework Agreement

This procurement opportunity involves supplying equipment for the IT&C network infrastructure to enhance the digital infrastructure of the University of Bucharest. The equipment will be used to expand LAN and WiFi coverage at various UB locations and to build new networks where necessary. The procurement will be conducted through a framework agreement for each lot, lasting 24 months. Some of the equipment specified in the terms of reference will be purchased through the first subsequent contract for each lot, funded by the project "Digital Ecosystem for Sustainable Learning at the University of Bucharest - EDIS-UB" (project code: 1828329254). The remaining equipment will be acquired through future subsequent contracts based on the contracting authority's needs, funded by the institution's own revenues. Details of the equipment subject to subsequent contracts and funding sources can be found in the annex regarding the financing of subsequent contracts, included in the procedure documentation. The project "Digital Ecosystem for Sustainable Learning at the University of Bucharest - EDIS-UB" runs for three years (September 16, 2022 - December 31, 2025) and is financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), component C15, reform 5: "Adoption of the legislative framework for the digitalization of education." The overall objective of the project is to sustainably increase the institutional capacity to offer high-quality study programs and to support a collaborative educational environment by creating a high-performance digital infrastructure.
