Key tasks include: - Providing common site facilities - Preparatory work for site clearance while maintaining ongoing waste treatment operations, including rehabilitation of an adjacent building, demolition of ancillary structures, rerouting of utilities, soil decontamination, installation of temporary modular buildings, and temporary roadworks - Anti-liquefaction treatment - Excavation and deep foundation work - Construction of an underground waste storage pit - Building a mixed structure process building (concrete and metal frame) - Constructing an office building with a wooden structure - Landscaping and peripheral site development. The process design-build contract was awarded in 2024 and includes process equipment, electrical systems, and control-command services.
