Purchase of a Computed Tomography Scanner

This contract involves the procurement of a Computed Tomography (CT) scanner, along with the necessary adjustments to the examination room and its commissioning. The detailed specifications of the procurement are outlined in Annex 2 of the procurement documents. Partial bids are not allowed due to the uniform nature of the procurement, which would lead to excessive organizational and technical difficulties, as well as additional costs and the need for coordination among different contractors. The funding for this project comes from the Greater Poland Voivodeship, specifically for the task titled 'Purchase of a Computed Tomography Scanner with adjustments to the examination room and commissioning.' The contracting authority may cancel the procurement process if the public funds intended for the project are not allocated. The investment includes modernizing the existing CT examination room by replacing the CT scanner and performing necessary adaptation work to comply with current regulations. Adaptation work includes enlarging the door opening in the structural wall, painting the rooms, replacing door frames, and carrying out installation work such as checking the efficiency of the existing mechanical ventilation and cooling systems, including cleaning, filter replacement, and any necessary adjustments. Additionally, electrical and telecommunication installations must be adapted to the new equipment and the final layout of the rooms. There may also be a need for additional radiological protection for walls, ceilings, windows, and doors, depending on the requirements outlined in the shielding project based on the new equipment's specifications. The project also includes the installation of system walls on a steel frame to fill the openings left by the door removal, using non-absorbent acoustic mineral wool. Furthermore, the contract covers the delivery, installation, and commissioning of the CT scanner, as well as training for staff on its operation and maintenance.
