Procurement of Aggregates for City Projects

The City of Salo (hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority/client) is requesting bids for the procurement of aggregates to be used in city construction sites, in accordance with the tender request and its attachments. The contract period is from 2025 to 2028, with an option for an additional year in 2029. The option allows for the continuation of the contract under the original terms. Decisions regarding the use and duration of options will be made separately. The procurement will be carried out as a framework agreement as described in the tender request. The procurement is divided into nine (9) categories. The annual consumption estimate for aggregates is a rough approximation, and the need for aggregates may vary each year. The procurement will be conducted according to the client's needs during the contract period. The client does not commit to specific annual procurement quantities. Therefore, the monetary values stated in this notice for each category are estimates from the contracting authority and may change. The aggregates must be CE approved. The dry aggregate of 4…8 mm used for sanding is not subject to CE marking (EN 13242 Unbound and hydraulically bound materials for use in civil engineering and road construction (SFS 7005)). The contracting authority will generally collect the aggregates from the quarry.
