Laboratory Investigations of Bituminous Pavements

This contract involves laboratory investigations on bituminous pavements to ensure the safety and durability of highway infrastructures. The work includes monitoring road surfaces to detect degradation and assess severity. Key tasks include: - Conducting high-performance surveys of road surfaces to measure longitudinal and transverse flatness, skid resistance, and load-bearing capacity. - Assessing road markings for retroreflection and skid resistance quality. - Collecting in-situ core samples from bituminous surfaces. - Describing the cores (layer type, layer thickness, cracking). - Testing adhesion between layers of the cores. - Analyzing the collected bituminous mix. - Analyzing the binder recovered from the mix. - Compiling a summary report of tests and analyses conducted, evaluating the condition of the pavements, and proposing repairs. The contract covers investigations on national roads, including major routes, access ramps, intersections, and connecting roads. The contract is divided into two lots: - Lot 1: Laboratory investigation services for bituminous pavements for the period 2025-2029. - Lot 2: Laboratory investigation services for bituminous pavements for the period 2025-2029.
