Roofing Contractor Required for Bolsover Assembly Hall Roof Replacement

Old Bolsover Town Council is inviting quotations from experienced roofing contractors to design, supply, and install a complete replacement roof system for the George Bratt Room at Bolsover Assembly Hall, Hill Top, Bolsover, S44 6NG. The existing mono-pitch roof has suffered recurring water damage for approximately ten years despite repeated repairs. An independent Chartered Building Surveyor has determined that the current roof covering is inadequate for the roof pitch, exposure, and local weather conditions, recommending full renewal. The successful contractor will be responsible for proposing and delivering a comprehensive roofing solution tailored to site conditions. The project requires a long-term solution that eliminates water ingress, accommodates a measured roof pitch of approximately 15 degrees, withstands exposure to wind uplift and wind-driven rain, includes all flashings, trims, rainwater goods and perimeter details, provides appropriate warranties and design responsibility, and minimizes future maintenance requirements.
