Digital Tree Surveys for London Transport Network

TfL is seeking a supplier to conduct comprehensive digital surveys of trees across the entire Transport for London Road Network. The project will create a detailed digital twin database capturing critical data including: tree location and GPS coordinates, species identification, current health status, stem diameter and total height measurements, pollution levels, rainwater interception capacity, carbon storage and sequestration potential, and safety risk assessments. This data will support TfL's urban forestry management, environmental sustainability goals, and maintenance planning. The successful supplier should have expertise in aerial surveying technology, tree assessment methodologies, data management systems, and the ability to deliver accurate, geospatial datasets that can integrate with TfL's existing infrastructure systems.
