Occupational Health Services Contract

Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) is looking for a supplier to provide Occupational Health services. The Council seeks a cost-effective service that delivers value for money. The successful bidder must demonstrate a proven track record of providing excellent and innovative support and guidance that maximizes benefits for HDC. HDC employs around 670 contracted staff across various locations, including Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, and Ramsey, with approximately 150 in manual roles. The contract is set to begin in January 2026, although this date may change. The contractor must hold SEQOHS accreditation at a minimum. Current services include health screenings for new starters (in-person or by phone), assessments for night workers, advice on sickness absence, return-to-work guidance, evaluations regarding the Equality Act 2010, and health checks for all staff.
