    Brief

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has extended the duration of the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Employment and Health Related Test and Learn Provision by an additional 29 months. The DPS is now open-ended, with a nominal end date of February 23, 2029, as specified in the Procurement Act 2023. DWP can terminate the contract with 20 working days' notice. This contract notice pertains to social and specific services as per regulation 75 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The DPS was established on November 9, 2018, to procure social and other services in England, Scotland, and Wales, using a light touch regime. The DPS offers opportunities for organizations to innovate and provide local specialist support in developing new approaches for employment and health-related activities. This initiative aims to build evidence for future service delivery at both national and local levels. While DWP cannot guarantee future business through the DPS, it is expected that there will be a limited number of proof of concept/test and learn projects during its duration. The expected total value of all call-off contracts under the DPS is approximately £20,000,000. This DPS will be utilized by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), its Executive Agencies, and Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) sponsored by DWP.
