    Brief

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) is seeking an external provider to deliver Acceleration Support services for the Heat Pump Ready (HPR) Round 2 Innovation Funding Competition. This is a market engagement notice and does not constitute a formal commitment to proceed. The Innovation Funding Competition provides grant funding for research and development projects addressing barriers to heat pump deployment, with the goal of enabling innovations to reach market by 2030. The Acceleration Support provider will work alongside grant-funded projects to help overcome market entry barriers not addressed by grant funding alone, including commercialisation, collaboration, dissemination, and social value activities. Key eligibility requirement: The appointed provider and any delivering organisations cannot apply for, or participate in, the Heat Pump Ready Innovation Funding Competition or future independent evaluation contracts to avoid conflicts of interest.
