Poole Water Recycling Centre Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain Project

Wessex Water is seeking a Competitively Appointed Provider (CAP) to design, build, finance, operate and maintain a new 30 million litres per day Water Recycling Centre at Corfe Mullen. This is a Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) project with an estimated capital value of approximately £170 million. The project includes transferring operations from the existing Poole Water Recycling Centre, creating new wetlands, and installing discharge pipelines. Wessex Water is conducting market engagement activities to collaborate with potential investors and main works contractors on project delivery, commercial models, and procurement approach. Interested parties can participate in a webinar in July 2026, an engagement event in Autumn 2026, and subsequent bilateral meetings to help shape the project development and align it with market trends.
