Wolverhampton Council is seeking qualified suppliers to provide specialist support services for asylum seekers and people arriving through safe and legal routes to the UK. The council has a statutory duty under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 to provide accommodation and support to those seeking asylum. This tender covers two specific service areas: Lot 2 focuses on improving standards in the private rented sector through support and oversight, and Lot 3 provides tenancy sustainment services to help vulnerable households maintain stable housing and avoid homelessness. These services are essential to ensure fair and equal access to support, meet the needs of arriving households, and fulfill government requirements. The contract will run for an initial 3-year period with options to extend for up to three additional 1-year periods (maximum 6 years total).
