Road Construction Project Completion in Santorini, Greece

This contract involves supplementary works to complete the initial project concerning the main road axis from the Airport to Fira, Vourvoulos, and Oia. Key tasks include: 1) Applying a second layer of asphalt on the connecting road to Vourvoulos; 2) Completing road works at the end of the main road from kilometer markers 8+730 to 8+873, including adjustments to the existing road towards Oia, adding a second layer of asphalt, constructing ditches on both sides of the road, extending the existing rockfall protection, and building a retaining wall around kilometer marker 8+770; 3) Applying a second layer of asphalt from kilometer markers 5+500 to 5+700 on the main road axis, creating a three-way intersection at kilometer marker 5+580, and additional works to improve intersection characteristics and enhance road safety; 4) Stone cladding of visible surfaces of the engineering works to blend with the natural landscape; 5) Stormwater drainage and road drainage works; 6) Landscaping works; 7) Signage and safety works; 8) Street lighting works.
