DNA Analysis and Administrative Services for the State Criminal Police Office of Schleswig-Holstein

The State of Schleswig-Holstein, represented by the Ministry of the Interior, Municipal Affairs, Housing, and Sports - State Criminal Police Office of Schleswig-Holstein (the contracting authority), is seeking molecular genetic analytical services as part of the expansion of the DNA Analysis File (DAD). This involves creating DNA profiles (DNA identification patterns) from trace and comparison materials according to the latest scientific standards while adhering to strict quality assurance measures for the federal DNA Analysis File. The STR systems of the German DNA Analysis File (DAD) to be typed include SE33, D21S11, vWA, TH01, FGA, D3S1358, D8S1179, D18S51, D1S1656, D2S441, D10S1248, D12S391, D22S1045, D16S539, D2S1338, D19S433, and Amelogenin. Based on the case volume from the past three years, the LKA SH expects a permanent assignment of approximately 600 traces per month. If a maximum of five items are submitted, all will be examined; if more than five items are sent, a sensible selection must be made. In case of doubt, contact via email with LKA SH Department 45 should be established. Due to unpredictable crime developments, the volume of samples and thus the scope of the analysis orders may vary significantly. Therefore, no specific order volume per month can be guaranteed. The examination orders will be placed by the police departments of the State of Schleswig-Holstein, sent to the LKA SH Department 45, and forwarded exclusively by them to the contractor. The maximum value for the services to be provided under this framework agreement during the specified period is €2,400,000 net. Upon reaching this maximum value, the framework agreement will automatically end, regardless of the originally agreed duration.
