Art Transportation Services Framework Agreement

The Barbican Centre, representing the City of London Corporation, is seeking suppliers for a Framework Agreement to provide art transportation services both domestically and internationally. This agreement is divided into four lots based on geographical areas: Lot 1 covers the UK, Lot 2 includes the UK and Europe, Lot 3 extends to the UK, Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, and Lot 4 is for worldwide services. For Lots 3 and 4, transportation may be conducted via air, sea, or road. The services required include packing and transporting fine art, objects, and entire exhibitions, as well as storage and technical assistance. Other departments within the City of London Corporation may also use this Framework Agreement for similar services. The total estimated value of the Framework Agreement is £3,800,000 for its four-year duration. There is no exclusivity guaranteed, and the contracting authority may enter into additional contracts with other suppliers. The agreement has been awarded to seven suppliers, with 5-6 suppliers per lot.
