Software Maintenance and Support Services

BWI GmbH is considering awarding a framework contract for the ongoing provision of licenses for the BVQ (Business Volume Qualicision) software as part of a true-up process, referred to as 'new licenses'. This contract will also include software maintenance and support services for both existing and new licenses, as well as additional software-related contractual services such as customization, implementation, and training. The total value of the contract is estimated at €5,760,000 (net) with a maximum cap of €8,640,000 (net). The contract will be awarded through a negotiation procedure without a competitive bidding process, in accordance with § 14 Abs. 4 Nr. 2 lit. b), c) VgV, to SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH. The contract will have a maximum duration of four years (1 year initial term, with the option to extend three times for 1 year each). BVQ is a monitoring, analysis, and reporting solution for the existing storage system landscape at BWI. The storage infrastructure is essential for delivering all services in the data centers. Continuous analysis of the system environment for availability and error patterns is crucial for the secure operation of many support services within the Bundeswehr's operational organization. Timely and targeted troubleshooting in case of errors, as well as a controlled response to new requirements, is of utmost priority. The goal of this procurement is to meet and expand the monitoring/reporting and analysis solution needs of BWI using the existing storage infrastructure.
