    The contract involves the ongoing supply of reagents for highly specialized research applications for Merck or equivalent products, as detailed in the pricing and assortment form (Annex 2). This procurement is based on an analysis of reagent supplies for Merck's specialized research applications over the past 24 months, considering necessary quantitative changes for scientific and research programs that require the use of reagents from the same manufacturer or equivalent ones. Suppliers proposing equivalent products must provide evidence that their reagents meet the requirements for continuing scientific and research programs without additional procedures or materials. The buyer reserves the right to change the quantity of the ordered items within the contract value limits and may not utilize the full quantity or value of the contract without any claims from the supplier. The supplier must also adhere to the 'Do No Significant Harm' principle as outlined in EU regulations.
