IT Services for Patient Portal Development

The Landeskrankenhaus (Public Law Institution) is the largest provider of psychiatric and neurological healthcare in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. With extensive experience in psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychosomatics, and neurology, the institution offers high-quality and economically balanced care across all its facilities. As part of the Hospital Future Fund initiative, we aim to implement a modern, integrated patient portal. The primary goal of this project is to enhance and optimize the care and information provided to patients during and after their hospital stay through digital methods. The portal will facilitate smooth communication of important treatment information, close existing information gaps that could lead to quality deficiencies, and provide attractive digital services to all users. Key features will include digital appointment management, digital medical history collection prior to hospital admission, specific information about the hospital and treatment, digital orientation aids on-site, bidirectional data and document exchange between service providers and recipients, and communication options via chat and email.
