Sports, Culture, and Wellness Services Payment Solution

This contract is for a payment solution that allows Oulu University and Oulu University of Applied Sciences to provide their staff with access to sports, culture, and wellness services across Finland. The payment solution will include a payment method and management services, enabling staff to utilize benefits within a budget. The benefits include services such as massage, physiotherapy, dental care, and specialist medical services, as outlined by tax regulations. The total estimated value of the contract is €5,000,000 (excluding VAT) over four years, accounting for potential changes in the number of users and benefit amounts. Approximately 4,000 staff members are eligible, with an annual benefit of about €180 for Oulu University and €240 for Oulu University of Applied Sciences. The contract will commence on January 1, 2026, and will remain in effect indefinitely, with the option to terminate at the end of a calendar year, requiring a notice period of at least three months for the buyer and six months for the supplier.
