    Brief

The contract involves the procurement of newborn screening kits for the detection of lysosomal storage diseases, specifically: Pompe disease (measuring alpha-glucosidase activity), Fabry disease (measuring alpha-galactosidase A activity), Gaucher disease (measuring glucocerebrosidase activity), and Mucopolysaccharidosis Type I (MPSI) using tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS). A total of 111,360 tests are required, packaged in microplates with 96 wells each. The buyer allows for the use of a screening kit that can simultaneously measure the activity of six enzymes (ABG, ASM, GAA, GALC, GLA, IDUA), including the required enzymes GAA, GLA, ABG, and IDUA, with the option to use only the results of the four required enzymes. The buyer reserves the right to reduce the quantity of reagents purchased by up to 20% if the budget is exceeded or if there are objective circumstances, such as a decrease in the expected number of births and tests. The supplier must deliver kits packaged for 2,400 tests or fewer (1,920, 960). According to Article 257 of the Public Procurement Law, the buyer may cancel the procurement process if the funds intended for the contract are not granted. The order must be fulfilled according to the requirements specified in the procurement documentation.
