Railway Reconstruction Project in Czech Republic

This contract involves the preparation of project plans and documentation for the reconstruction of the railway section from Čáslav (including) to Kutná Hora (excluding). The work must comply with the procurement documentation and include discussions with relevant state authorities. In the initial phase, the contractor will prepare documentation excluding the documentation part, the design of the marking network, and the coordination marking drawing from the geodetic documentation. All necessary surveys for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) documentation, including biological and dendrological surveys, as well as geotechnical and construction technical surveys, will be conducted. The proposed technical solution will include: - Development of a reconstruction variant for the railway in its existing alignment, including the Čáslav railway station, - Development of a variant with a realignment to eliminate local speed drops, alternative to the 'TES Modernization of the Brno-Havlíčkův Brod-Kolín railway (approximately at km 281.3 to 282.7), including the Čáslav railway station. Both basic variants will be assessed primarily in terms of technical solutions, benefits of reduced travel time, territorial permeability, environmental impact, land acquisition (including identification of permanently acquired lands and their mapping at a scale of 1:1000), and economic efficiency. The economic evaluation will be prepared in the following modifications: a) for the reconstruction of the railway in the existing alignment including the reconstruction of the Čáslav railway station, b) separate economic evaluations for the reconstruction of the railway section with realignment and a separate economic evaluation for the reconstruction of the Čáslav railway station.
