Romania – Construction of Wastewater Treatment Plants and Sewer Network Expansion in Comanesti

This project focuses on two main objectives: 1. Modernization of the existing wastewater treatment plant, which may involve complete rehabilitation or replacement with a new facility. Key components include: - Expansion of sewer networks in areas currently served only by water distribution networks, specifically in the neighborhoods of Zăvoi, Șupan, Lăloaia Dreaptă, Lăloaia Stânga, and Sublăloaia. Lot 1 involves the modernization of the existing Comanesti treatment plant, which includes: 1.1. Mechanical treatment stage with components such as: - Inlet chamber with stormwater bypass; - Automatic cleaning bar screens; - Influent pumping station; - Electromagnetic flow meter; - Compact mechanical pre-treatment units; - Reception station for sludge from septic tanks. 1.2. Biological treatment stage with components such as: - Distribution chamber for flow to biological reactors; - Biological reactors; - Secondary clarifiers; - Chemical dosing unit for phosphorus removal; - Blower station; - Technological water pumping station; - Measurement and sampling channel. 1.3. Sludge treatment stage with components such as: - Pumping station for recirculated and excess sludge; - Sludge thickener; - Sludge stabilization basin; - Sludge dewatering unit; - Polymer preparation and dosing unit; - Supernatant pumping station; - Temporary storage for dewatered sludge. 1.4. Additional works include: - Installation of an alternative power source for equipment operation during electrical outages; - Automation of the process using PLCs, key process sensors, and specialized software; - Upgrading the existing laboratory with necessary equipment for physical-chemical, biological, and bacteriological analyses. Lot 2 involves the expansion of the sewer network for household wastewater in the same neighborhoods, including: - Gravity sewer network with a total length of 32,962 m; - Prefabricated inspection chambers; - Wastewater pumping stations; - Individual connections to the sewer network. The total project value is approximately 68,405,505.63 RON. The deadline for submissions is September 16, 2025.
