IT Services for Public Prosecutors

The Federal Office of Justice (BfJ) is seeking a supplier to maintain and further develop the Central Prosecutorial Procedure Register (ZStV). This register is essential for storing nationwide data on criminal investigations against individuals, collected from public prosecutors and financial authorities dealing with tax offenses, as well as customs authorities. The centralized data management facilitates effective information exchange among public prosecutors and other authorized agencies, improving coordination in investigations, especially for offenders operating across jurisdictions or those with multiple offenses. The goal is to prevent duplicate proceedings and establish collective procedures as early as possible. The BfJ intends to reassign the maintenance and development of the ZStV process.
