Facade Renovation Project for Community School in Mölln

The City of Mölln is seeking suppliers for the renovation of the Community School Mölln (GMS). The initial phase of this project involves energy-efficient renovations of the facade and roof of the main and secondary school buildings. The secondary school will be insulated with a wooden frame construction placed on a newly created strip foundation. The existing reinforced concrete slab will be extended to the new foundation. After the new facade is completed, the old facade will be demolished, and the interior spaces will be expanded to meet the new facade. The insulation of the flat roof will be upgraded to modern standards, with the roof slope adjusted towards the facade to redirect internal drainage to the exterior, using downpipes along the facade. The buildings are approximately 8.70 meters high. The main school is a two-story masonry building with a tiled gable roof. The outer layer of the two exterior wall shells will be demolished, and insulation made of mineral wool will be applied to the inner shell, along with a ventilated curtain facade made of brick panels. The windows will be replaced in the existing openings. The covering of the approximately 40° sloped gable roof will also be renewed, and the top floor ceiling will be insulated with blown-in insulation. The eaves height is 7.76 meters above the ground level.
