    Brief

This contract involves the supply of waste containers for door-to-door collection of household waste in Belgium. It is divided into three lots: Lot 1 includes adjustable handle synthetic containers with a capacity of approximately 42 liters; Lot 2 consists of two-wheeled synthetic containers with capacities of 140 and 240 liters; Lot 3 features four-wheeled synthetic containers with capacities of 660 and 1100 liters. The contract covers the supply of containers, spare parts, and any necessary accessories. All lots include a mandatory option for marking the lid or body and providing tools for container repairs. Lots 2 and 3 also include a mandatory option for the buyback of decommissioned container materials by weight. Lot 3 allows for an optional provision and/or installation of a suitable locking system. Currently, 30 municipalities, representing about 61% of the population of Namur Province (approximately 311,000 residents), are equipped with chip containers for household waste collection. This contract aims to enable other municipalities in the province (approximately 200,000 residents) to implement this type of collection if they wish and to continue supplying those already equipped. Several municipalities are currently inquiring about transitioning to chip container waste collection, but no decisions have been made yet. The quantities mentioned are indicative and do not bind the contracting authority. The unit prices submitted by the contractor will remain unchanged, regardless of the actual quantities ordered. Supplies will be delivered according to the administrative and technical clauses detailed in the special specifications and any additional instructions provided by the responsible official or competent Intermunicipal agents. The technical description of this contract is detailed in the 'Technical Descriptions' section, where options are also provided.
