Engineering Services for Binckhorst Bridge Renewal

The municipality of The Hague is seeking a contractor to provide various advisory services necessary for the renewal of the Binckhorst Bridge. The selected contractor will be engaged for the duration of the project, which is estimated to last approximately 3.5 years, starting in September 2025. Key advisory services include: 1. Developing the Preliminary Design; 2. Creating a Construction Team Agreement for contracting a contractor for project execution; 3. Providing support during the procurement process for the contractor mentioned in point 2; 4. Collaborating with the contractor to develop the Definitive Design; 5. Offering advisory services for the construction team; 6. Drafting a work contract for the realization of the project based on UAV 2012; 7. Providing advisory services for contract management related to the work contract mentioned in point 6; 8. Offering technical back-office support during project execution; 9. Optionally, providing project management and supervision during project execution. The procurement for the realization contract is expected to start in January 2026, with the Definitive Design phase commencing in August 2026. The project is anticipated to be completed by December 2028.
