Construction of Expansion for Ebersberg Hospital

The Ebersberg Hospital is planning to expand its facility with a new building. Prior to the start of construction, extensive deep foundation work has already been completed to secure the construction site. The new building will include a fully basement level with technical areas and changing rooms, a hillside level that will house the future emergency department, and four additional above-ground floors that will accommodate a nursing school, medical care center, and administration offices. Key requirements for the project include: 1,000 m³ of capillary-breaking, compactable soil replacement material; 1,240 m³ of C30/37 reinforced concrete for ceilings, slabs, and platforms; 4,750 m² of formwork for ceilings and slabs; and 255 tons of BSt 500 S (B) reinforcement steel, with round steel of 8 to 12 mm diameter.
