IT Support Services for Data Governance System Evolution

The Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training is seeking to enhance and improve the Hipatia data analysis and exploitation system. The project aims to achieve the following objectives: • Provide support and assistance in managing the Ministry's data governance policy and information access for data analysis and exploitation. This includes establishing organizational and operational protocols to improve data quality and reliability in production processes, promote information reuse, and centralize the use of indicators to unify criteria across the Ministry. • Offer support for information requests from the Ministry, including user support, maintenance, and assistance to meet information consumption demands. • Continue expanding the repositories in the Centralized Data Storage System by consolidating data and incorporating new information sources into the Data Lake for analysis and exploitation, considering internal and external information systems like Séneca and Sirhus-e, while ensuring security dimensions such as availability, authenticity, integrity, confidentiality, and traceability. • Provide support for the user-friendly data exploitation tool chosen by the Ministry, Microsoft Power BI, to increase the number of users accessing and frequently using the tool, thereby reducing the need for IT intervention and enhancing the autonomy of administrative managers in data exploitation tasks. • Ensure continuous improvement and innovation in the project, remaining open to changes that enhance system functionality, whether through the adoption of new technologies or the replacement of obsolete components, subject to the Ministry's approval. The system must be flexible to meet the evolving needs of end users.
