Brief
The Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg (KVH) is seeking to replace existing conventional desks at their administrative office located at Humboldtstraße 56, Barmbek-Süd, 22083 Hamburg, with 360 electric height adjustable desks. Currently, only about 18% of the office workstations are equipped with height adjustable desks, primarily for employees with specific tasks and medical needs. The goal is to create a more ergonomic and flexible workspace to enhance employee well-being and health. The contract includes the delivery, professional assembly, and commissioning of the new desks, as well as their integration into the existing office layout. The selected product must visually and functionally blend seamlessly with the current furniture concept. It is essential that the color and technical specifications of the new desks harmonize with the existing furniture to ensure a cohesive appearance and a functional, appealing work environment. The planned timeline is as follows: 1) Tender period: August 1 - September 1, 2025 2) Evaluation, sampling, and notifications period: September 2 - approximately September 29, 2025 3) Awarding of contract by September 30, 2025 4) Implementation: The project will be executed in two phases: First phase: Replacement of 50% of workstations from November 1, 2025, to December 15, 2025. Second phase: Replacement of the remaining 50% of workstations from January 5, 2026, to February 27, 2026. If unforeseen changes in the office structure result in a need for additional height adjustable desks after the completion of the two phases, the client may order any number of desks under the same contractual terms within four weeks after project completion. The execution of the second phase is subject to budget approval for the new fiscal year 2026, which is not officially confirmed until the tender and award period in July 2025. The call for the second phase is tentatively planned for early November 2025, pending budget approval. A timeline and space plan will be provided by the client. The contract includes timely delivery and assembly according to agreed quality standards, disposal of packaging materials, provision of all necessary assembly materials, and documentation of the work performed. The old desks do not need to be disposed of but should be transported to a designated central location in the building by the furniture team.
