Lower Thames Crossing - Kent Roads - Stage 1 Works

Skanska is looking for a subcontractor to provide white lining services for access routes and parking areas in Gravesend, Kent. The subcontractor will need to supply all necessary labor, materials, and equipment, and ensure quality assurance in line with Skanska's specifications and safety standards. The Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) project aims to improve connectivity between Essex and Kent via a tunnel under the River Thames. Our goal is to enhance job access, support local businesses, and promote sustainable construction practices. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for small and local businesses through Contracts Finder, ensuring they can compete fairly in the LTC supply chain. This initiative aims to strengthen local economies and maximize community benefits. Our vision is to create the UK's most environmentally friendly road, and we need our suppliers to share this commitment. Successful suppliers must: • Contribute to local workforce development and skills training. • Minimize carbon emissions, including eliminating diesel use on site. • Offer early career opportunities, such as apprenticeships, and engage young people in construction through STEM initiatives. All workers must have relevant qualifications and competency cards (CSCS) and hold a Highway Passport.
