Technical Training Services for Economic Empowerment in Colombia

This contract opportunity involves providing technical training services as part of the "Economic Empowerment of Internally Displaced Women, LGBTIQ+ Individuals, and Women from Host Communities in Colombia" project, funded by the Special Initiative for Refugees and Host Countries (SIGA) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project, managed by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, aims to enhance equitable economic participation for women and vulnerable individuals in selected communities hosting internally displaced persons. The contractor will be responsible for developing context-specific training programs to improve the economic and financial capabilities of these vulnerable groups. Additionally, the contractor will strengthen and coordinate psychosocial services and childcare support to facilitate employment and income-generating activities. The contractor will also assist in implementing local subsidies as part of the necessary measures in this area, as well as in two other action fields: adapting public-private cooperation for labor market integration to meet the needs of disadvantaged individuals, and improving conditions for the further development of relevant areas for micro and small business activities of disadvantaged individuals.
