Germany – Construction Work for Residential Buildings – Renovation of Apartments: Awarding Contracts in the 7th Quarter of the DBS (April-June 2025)

The contracting authority owns apartments throughout Germany. They plan to quickly renovate vacant apartments, divided into 16 German regions, which cannot be rented out due to the need for renovation. Renovation services will be required in varying scopes for the apartments, following an agile approach. The contracting authority aims to group similar apartments together and award contracts in individual sprints through a dynamic procurement process. The contractor's services will include all construction work necessary for the technically and craftily flawless renovation of the apartments, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and are ready for occupancy. Depending on the specific renovation needs of each apartment, the following trades and services will be required under a unified overall responsibility: - Painting - Flooring, tiling, and slab laying - Electrical installation - Plumbing, gas, water, and heating installation - Carpentry / installation of standardized prefabricated components. The contracting authority will communicate its specific renovation needs (approximately 3-5 apartments) for grouped apartments in the dynamic procurement system, inviting suitable companies in the region to submit bids. These companies will then have the opportunity to inspect the apartments and submit their offers. This process applies to the following regions (the respective call-off services in the form of performance sprints will only relate to one of these regions): - Region 1: Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - Region 2: Schleswig-Holstein with North Frisian Islands / Hamburg / Northern Lower Saxony - Region 3: Western Lower Saxony with East Frisian Islands / Bremen area - Region 4: Lower Saxony / Magdeburg area and Altmark - Region 5: Berlin and Brandenburg - Region 6: Saxony and Southern Brandenburg - Region 7: Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony - Region 8: Thuringia and Southern Lower Saxony - Region 9: Hessian Uplands and East Westphalia/Lippe - Region 10: Northern North Rhine-Westphalia - Region 11: Southern North Rhine-Westphalia - Region 12: Western and Southern Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland - Region 13: Rhineland-Palatinate (Koblenz area) and Frankfurt/Main area and Spessart as well as Lower Franconia - Region 14: Bavaria - Region 15: Northern Baden-Württemberg and Ulm area - Region 16: Southern Baden-Württemberg.
