Environmental Training Services for Biodiversity in Ireland

Louth Local Development, representing the Louth Local Community Development Committee (LCDC), is seeking a trainer or facilitator to conduct the Garden Design Principles for Biodiversity Training Course in 2026. We invite tenders from qualified individuals, companies, or groups with expertise in garden design and biodiversity to provide tailored training for communities throughout County Louth. The training aims to enhance biodiversity in local recreational and community areas. The program will be held in three locations across the county (North, South, and Mid Louth), with three courses scheduled over three evenings (7 PM to 9 PM) for a total of at least 60 participants (20 per course). This amounts to 18 hours of training (6 hours per venue). Venues will be confirmed in collaboration with Louth Local Development, preferably in community facilities. The trainer/facilitator will be responsible for organizing the initiative, recruiting participants, advertising the program, delivering the training, and providing handouts. This training is targeted at community groups, tidy towns groups, allotment groups, residents' associations, volunteers, landowners (who allow public access), environmental groups, multicultural groups, and anyone interested in conserving and protecting biodiversity in their local area and County Louth.
