Asylum Seeker Transport Services - Market Engagement

The Home Office is conducting preliminary market engagement for transport services supporting asylum seekers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC) in the UK. The Home Office has statutory duties under the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act 2009 and the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 to safeguard child welfare and provide temporary support for destitute asylum seekers. This engagement seeks to understand supplier capability, capacity, delivery models, and commercial approaches for arranging civilian transport on behalf of local authorities and the Home Office. Services will include movement of UASC and adult asylum seekers as required. The Home Office is exploring various contract structures and welcomes participation from suppliers able to deliver full or partial scope services. Information about service requirements, volumes, and operational arrangements will be shared with interested organisations during the engagement process. Interested parties must complete a Non-Disclosure Agreement to access detailed materials.
