Wirral Breastfeeding Support Service

This is an opportunity to deliver comprehensive breastfeeding support services across Wirral for pregnant women and new mothers. The service should provide evidence-based breastfeeding education, promotion, and ante-natal programmes through multiple channels including face-to-face support at Family Hubs and Children's Centres, group sessions, peer support networks, telephone helplines, and digital resources. The service must prioritise reaching vulnerable women and those in disadvantaged wards with the lowest breastfeeding rates, with a particular focus on reducing health inequalities. A strong social media presence is required to provide ongoing encouragement, motivation, and personalised support to improve breastfeeding rates and promote the health and wellbeing of mothers and babies in the local area.
