    Brief

Dublin City Council is seeking to award a direct contract to Verdé Environmental Consultants Limited for the operation and maintenance of a dewatering system at the Kevin Street Camden Yard site in Dublin 8. This is a 5-month initial contract with the option to extend for up to three additional 3-month periods (total potential duration: 14 months). The contractor will be responsible for managing groundwater levels below basement and excavation areas using existing fully operational infrastructure including pumps, sediment tank, pipework, and monitoring equipment. The primary objective is to protect the site and existing structures from water damage. The contract is being awarded under the negotiated procedure without prior competition, as the technical specifications of the existing system make this particular contractor the only viable provider. Responsibility for dewatering operations is expected to transfer to the Main Contractor upon their appointment, currently anticipated in March 2027, pending project funding confirmation. Contract value: €157,631.
