Event Management Framework Agreement (EMF1)

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has established an Event Management Framework (EMF1) to provide flexible procurement routes for various event management and delivery services. The framework operates under the Procurement Act 2023 and Light Touch Regime, with an initial four-year term and two optional 12-month extensions. Five specialised lots are available: Lot 1 covers large-scale national and public-facing events; Lot 2 addresses medium to large-scale indoor events; Lot 3 focuses on government participation at third-party events; Lot 4 manages small-scale or short-duration events; and Lot 5 provides specialist event assurance services including crowd management, safety planning, and operational security. This framework offers suppliers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive event services across multiple scales and specialisms to government clients.
