The work will take place in Sofia (22.676 km) and in regional cities across Bulgaria (112.038 km). The primary goal of this project is to upgrade and replace outdated MMF cables with SMF cables in Sofia and regional cities. This replacement will contribute to achieving key objectives under Activity 1, which focuses on enhancing the national backbone network by increasing its transmission capacity and ensuring connectivity to all municipal centers. This initiative is part of the investment C7.I1 for the large-scale deployment of digital infrastructure in Bulgaria, as outlined in the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
