Procurement of Digital Communication Devices for Public Safety

The City of Hamm is seeking to procure 40 digital handheld radios and 9 digital vehicle radios for installation in the vehicles of its Public Order Office. The Public Order Office is responsible for ensuring safety and order in the city, which includes reliable and secure communication through digital radio systems. This communication is essential not only for the operations of the Public Order Office but also for collaboration with other authorities and organizations involved in public safety during major incidents and disasters. According to German law, only certified devices can be used in public safety digital radio communications. The only approved manufacturers for these devices are Motorola and Sepura. The City of Hamm has accepted the offer from Selectric Digitalfunk-Systeme NRW GmbH for this procurement.
