    Brief

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is looking for a supplier to conduct research for the Electoral Resilience and Democratic Engagement Programme (ERDEP). This program aims to introduce voting for 16- and 17-year-olds, known as 'Votes at 16', along with other electoral reforms. The research will involve conducting surveys and focus groups with young people aged 14 to 15 who will soon be eligible to register to vote, as well as those aged 16 and 17 who are newly eligible voters across the UK. The project includes data analysis and the creation of a final report that will be published. Additionally, the department aims to establish a long-term partnership with the supplier for potential future projects during the contract period.
