Excavation Work for Water and Wastewater Networks in France

This contract involves excavation work necessary for the installation of underground water supply and wastewater pipeline networks. The work typically includes digging trenches, preparing the excavation base (which may involve creating a bedding layer), backfilling the trench with new or existing materials, and compacting the fill to meet quality standards. Additional considerations may include crossing roads, rivers, and railway areas. A detailed description of the work will be provided by the Régie du SDDEA for each project order. The components of the networks will be supplied and installed by the Régie du SDDEA, but the contractor may be required to assist in handling and positioning the pipes. All backfilling operations will be carried out exclusively by the contractor.
