Brief
The municipality of Althengstett is planning to construct a barrier-free replacement building for an existing annex (former caretaker's apartment) adjacent to the primary school building. The former caretaker's apartment located at Schulstraße 1 will be demolished, and the new functional building will be attached to the primary school. This new building is intended for use by after-school care for children aged 6 to 10 years. The ground floor will include a care room (65 m²), a movement room (65 m²), a creative room (18 m²), a social work office (16.5 m²), a first aid room (16.5 m²), open recreational areas (30 m²), and sanitary facilities (totaling 19.5 m²). The upper floor will focus on office spaces (approximately 51 m²) and staff rooms (break room 12.5 m², staff room 22 m²) for the after-school care personnel. Additionally, a project room/small auditorium (130 m²) will be built in the southern part of the building for small concerts, theater performances, lectures, etc. The basement will include a workshop for primary school children (71.5 m²) and ancillary rooms (cleaning room and utility room 15.5 m², technical room 10 m², storage rooms 18 m², 16 m²). The project is part of the federal program for the renovation of municipal facilities in the areas of sports, youth, and culture. The municipality has received funding from PTJ. Construction must begin by November 2025; otherwise, the municipality will lose the funding. Althengstett places special emphasis on energy-efficient concepts. The planning should assume a KfW Efficiency House 40 Renewable Energy Class. Photovoltaic systems or solar thermal energy are desired. The new building should be supplied with local district heating. Work is to commence immediately after the contract is awarded. The design planning must be completed by March 31, 2025.
